「祖父依然在屋後的田畦上種番薯，有如自古以來就一直在那裡種。阿遠洗完臉出來，走到祖父身邊，感覺喜悅，話著家常，無非是收成好不好之類的事。祖孫無話時，望著礦山上的風雲變化，一陣子淡，一陣子濃，風吹來，又稀散無蹤影。

面對乏味的語言，沒法答應，唯有微笑。我聽說笑時眼睛不瞇，便是假的，還警惕注意間中瞇眼，盡能力欺騙。
我在做什麼呢，外面那麼好的天氣，一瓣一瓣的雲，沿途有花，繁榮燦爛，都與他們無關。

坐在那裡，我只想盡快離開。
